Dr. Olajide AYODELE obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Ado-Ekiti (now known as Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti), Ekiti State in 2005 with Second Class Upper Division in Industrial Chemistry. He proceeded to the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State where he bagged his Master of Technology (M.Tech) Degree in Industrial Chemistry in 2013 and Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D) in Industrial Chemistry in 2018.

Dr. Ayodele was employed as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Ekiti State University on 28^th November, 2016. To mention a few, he has served in the various capacities within the University as a: member of the University Portal Management Team between 2019-2020; pioneer Sub-Dean at the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies between 2022 – 2025; member, Quality Assurance Committee, Directorate of General Studies (GST) from 2022- till date; member, Research Agenda Committee, Faculty of Science in 2024; member, Research Agenda Committee, Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies from 2023 to 2025; member, University Senate; and member of other several statutory and ad-hoc committees at different times.

Dr. Ayodele is the current Ag. Head of Department of Industrial Chemistry from 2025 till date.

His research interests are in the areas of Industrial Chemistry, Nanochemistry, waste beneficiation, etc. Dr. Ayodele has attended and presented papers at various conferences/workshops. He has also served as a reviewer to both local and international journals. He has supervised several projects at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has published over forty papers to his credit in both local and international journals of high repute.

Dr. Ayodele is a member and General Secretary to the Chemical Society of Nigeria, Ekiti Chapter.
